Resources and support for education providers

We work with schools, colleges and universities. We prioritise areas with major disruption.

We help students, staff and parents consider:

  • the time they travel
  • the modes of transport they use
  • the route they take

We also help people to take up walking and cycling.

There are resources to help teach students about:

Travelling in the pandemic

We have created a toolkit for school travel during the pandemic. There are posters in other languages and workshop templates.

We are also running a marketing campaign.

We have a police team called the Safer Travel Partnership. They patrol public transport to keep it safe.

They also have tips on staying safe when travelling.

Youth forum

12 to 24-year-olds can help shape the future of transport in the region through our youth forum.

Discounted travel for school trips

We are not currently selling class passes because of the pandemic.

You can get a Network Class Pass to use public transport for trips. It is cheaper than a coach or individual tickets.

You can catch as many buses, trains and trams as you like after 9am.

You can take up to 30 students and six adults. We also have a pass for a small group of up to 10 students and two adults.
