Roll and stroll - get cycling and walking
Cycling and walking are more popular than ever. We want to help you get started and keep going.
Cycling and walking improvements in your area
We want to make it easier for people to get around on foot or by bike. The government has awarded us money to do this. This is called the West Midlands Active Travel Fund. It will pay for things like:
- pop-up cycle lanes
- improving existing cycling and walking routes
- widening pavements
This will help you travel safely and reduce carbon emissions to keep our air clean.
We’re working with local authorities on projects like the Starley Network. This is a network of cycling and walking trails. It links hundreds of miles of cycle routes across the region.
We want to hear from you. Tell us what you think about cycling and walking changes in your area.
